About Me
- Barbara Ford
- I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 46 years. We have two children, a son and a daughter, now grown with children of their own (we have four grandchildren). I now spend a lot of my time with my hobbies (scrapbooking and genealogy), as well as church activities (play keyboard, direct the elementary children ministry, and lead a small group). Before retirement, as a public educator, I taught social studies and Eng, Kg, 5th gr, college Eng, college educ courses, and Gifted. I also worked for IBM K-12 Education, as a national product specialist. I love: Jesus Christ, my Redeemer and Master; my husband; my children and their spouses; my four grandchildren, each of whom is very special in unique ways; my extended family; my church; my friends; my doggie; my life. I like: my hobbies; puppies; teddy bears; children's eyes when I'm teaching and they "get it;" the St. Louis Cardinals; coffee; spring days; autumn days; living in the woods; talking with my grandchildren; traveling with my husband; playing piano.
