45 Years

I created this page for a 5x7 frame. We had dinner at Brio Tuscan Grill to celebrate our 45th anniversary.

Scripture Focus

She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.

She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.

Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:

--Proverbs 31:25-28 (NIV)

About Me

Barbara Ford: I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 46 years. We have two children, a son and a daughter, now grown with children of their own (we have four grandchildren). I now spend a lot of my time with my hobbies (scrapbooking and genealogy), as well as church activities (play keyboard, direct the elementary children ministry, and lead a small group). Before retirement, as a public educator, I taught social studies and Eng, Kg, 5th gr, college Eng, college educ courses, and Gifted. I also worked for IBM K-12 Education, as a national product specialist. I love: Jesus Christ, my Redeemer and Master; my husband; my children and their spouses; my four grandchildren, each of whom is very special in unique ways; my extended family; my church; my friends; my doggie; my life. I like: my hobbies; puppies; teddy bears; children's eyes when I'm teaching and they "get it;" the St. Louis Cardinals; coffee; spring days; autumn days; living in the woods; talking with my grandchildren; traveling with my husband; playing piano.

ABOUT MY BLOG

I have only recently started experimenting with digital scrapbooking. My primary mode of scrapbooking is traditional/paper. I have shared several of those pages, but the digital pages are so easy to post!

My Life Goal

Psalm 19:14, "May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer." (NIV)
